Link a Google Classroom Account to SpanishDictionary.com (For Teachers)

To set up a class on SpanishDictionary.com with Google Classroom, you'll first need to make sure that you have an account with SpanishDictionary.com, which is completely free (for both you and your students). To create an account, go to https://www.spanishdict.com/ and click the "Sign in" button in the top-right corner of the page. If you already have an account, click on "Sign in" and sign into your account.

Once you're signed in, click the three dots in the menu bar at the top of the page, and then select "Classrooms" from the drop-down menu.

On the Classrooms page, click the "Get Started" button.

You'll then be asked how you want to create your class. Click the "Use Google Classroom" button.

Click the "Link Google Classroom Account" button and follow the prompts in the Google pop-up window to link your account.

If you don't have any classes in your Google Classroom account, you'll be asked to set them up before you can start creating assignments on SpanishDictionary.com.

If you already have classes set up in your Google Classroom account, you'll be asked to select the classes that you want to add.

You'll then be given the option to create an assignment (vocabulary or grammar) for that class.

If you want more information about our vocabulary and grammar assignments and how to set them up to send to your students, please check out the articles linked at the bottom of this page.

If you'd rather not make an assignment right away, click "SpanishDictionary.com" above the assignment-creation buttons to return to the homepage.

To find the class(es) that you created, click "Classrooms" in the site menu. You'll then see a dashboard with all of your synced classes. From the dashboard, you can add another class or create assignments.

When you hover your mouse over a class tile, you'll see three dots appear in the top right corner of the tile. Clicking those dots will reveal a "Remove class" button.

Please note that removing a class permanently deletes all class information from SpanishDictionary.com, which cannot be recovered. If you're having trouble with a class that is linked from Google Classroom, please contact us at support@spanishdict.com.

Clicking on the class name will take you to the dashboard for that class.

If you use Google Classroom and want to modify a class in some way (add/remove students, change the name of the class), you will need to do so in Google Classroom. SpanishDictionary.com will then receive the new class information from Google and update your information accordingly.
