How to link a Google Classroom account to SpanishDict

You'll first need to make sure that you have an account with SpanishDict, which is completely free (for both you and your students). To create an account, go to and click the "Sign up" button in the top right corner of the page. If you already have an account, click on "Log in" and log into your account. 

Once you're logged in, click the three dots in the menu bar at the top of the page, and then select "Classrooms" from the dropdown menu. 

On the Classrooms page, click the "Get Started" button.

Select your role (Teacher).

Select the learning management system that you use at your school.

We currently only offer support for Google Classroom but will be releasing a SpanishDict class management platform soon. Blackboard and Canvas support may be considered in the future. If you do not use Google Classroom in your school, you can still use the free resources on SpanishDict with your students, such as our vocabulary quizzes and grammar lessons. You just won't be able to assign them through a learning management system.

If you selected Google Classroom, you'll then be asked to link your Google Classroom account. Click the "Link Google Classroom Account" button and then follow the prompts in the Google pop-up window to link your account.

If you don't have any classes in your Google Classroom account, you'll be asked to set them up before you can start creating assignments on SpanishDict.

If you already have classes set up in your Google Classroom account, you'll be asked to select the classes that you want to sync.

You'll then see a dashboard with all of your synced classes. From the dashboard, you can add a class or create assignments. Clicking on the three dots to the right of a class will reveal a "Remove class" button.

Clicking on the class name will take you to the dashboard for that class.
