How to Cancel a Premium Subscription on the Website

If you started your subscription in the iOS app, you will need to cancel your subscription through the App Store. See this article for more information: How to Cancel a Premium Subscription in the iOS App

When you sign up for a Premium subscription on the SpanishDictionary.com website, you will start with a 7-day free trial before being charged for the plan that you chose. If you decide that you don't want to keep the subscription, you can cancel your subscription during the free trial period to avoid being charged.

If you decide to continue and pay for a subscription, the subscription will be set up to renew automatically according to the plan that you chose (monthly, every 6 months, yearly). You can cancel prior to a future renewal date to avoid being charged again.

To cancel a subscription that was originally created on the SpanishDictionary.com website from a computer, first make sure you're signed into your account. Then click on your profile circle in the top right corner of the page and click "Settings".

On a mobile device, you would need to open the menu in the top right corner, sign in (if needed), and then click the gear icon at the top to access your settings.

On the Settings page, scroll down to the bottom to find the "Subscription" section.

Click "Cancel auto-renew". You'll be asked to select a reason for why you are canceling, and then you'll see a final confirmation box where you'll need to click "Yes, please cancel".

The "Subscription" section on your Settings page will then update to show the date on which the subscription is set to expire.

If you change your mind, you can click "Enable auto-renew" to turn the renewals back on.
