Join a Class on SpanishDictionary.com Classrooms (For Students)
Your teacher can invite you to join a class on SpanishDictionary.com in a few different ways.
If your class uses Google Classroom (GC), you will need to join the class by opening an assignment from your teacher in GC and then linking your GC account to SpanishDictionary.com. Therefore, the instructions on this page will not apply to you. Instead, please see the article linked here for help with joining your class and accessing your assignments: Open an Assignment in Google Classroom (For Students)
Join a Class With a Direct Link
If your teacher sends you a link that looks similar to spanishdict.com/join/FDN6XEH, you can either click the link or copy it and paste it into your web browser. Once you're on that page, click the blue "Continue" button.
Join a Class With a Code
If your teacher sends you a code of letters and numbers that looks similar to XMTQ0CB, go to https://spanishdict.com/join, enter the code on that page, and then click the blue arrow button.
How to Continue After Joining a Class
If you are not already logged into a SpanishDictionary.com account, you will then see the following page.
If you do not yet have a SpanishDictionary.com account, click one of the sign-up options (Google, Facebook, Apple, or "Sign up") to create your account. If you already have a SpanishDictionary.com account, sign in using the method you used to create the account (Google, Facebook, Apple, or email with password).
On the next page, type in your first and last name and click "Save".
The name you type in here will only be visible to your teacher. It is not the same as your username, which can be viewed by other users on some parts of the site. Please type in your real name on this page so that your teacher can track your progress more easily.
You'll then be directed to your class dashboard, where you'll see any assignments that your teacher has created.
You can click the name of an assignment to complete it, and you can come back to this page at any time by logging into your SpanishDictionary.com account and clicking "Classrooms" at the top of the page. If you don't see "Classrooms" in the menu bar, first click the three dots, and then click "Classrooms".
