Edit a Vocabulary List in the iOS App

Edit a List You Made

To remove words from a vocabulary list, first open the app's menu and select "Vocabulary". Then locate the list you want to edit. If you don't see it on the Vocabulary home page, tap on the number with an arrow to the right of "My Lists" to view all of your lists on one page.

Once you find the list that you want to edit, tap on the title to open the list.

Locate the word you want to remove and tap on the three dots to the right of the word. This will bring up a menu that includes the options "Remove word" and "Exclude word". 

Removing the word will permanently delete the word from the list. Excluding the word will hide the word so that it won't appear in quizzes or notifications.

The word will then appear in a list at the bottom of the page, and you can add it back to the quizzes by tapping on the three dots and selecting the option "Include word".

Edit a List Made by SpanishDict or Another User

If you're viewing a list that was created by the SpanishDict team or another user, you'll only be able to exclude words. You won't be able to delete words from the list.
