Writing Coach

When you have a SpanishDictionary.com Premium subscription and use the SpanishDictionary.com website or the iOS app (for iPhone/iPad, not Android), you can use the Writing Coach to proofread the sentences you write in Spanish (or English) to ensure that the grammar and spelling are correct.

To find this feature on a computer, open SpanishDictionary.com, sign into your Premium account, click on the three dots at the top of the page, and then select "Writing Coach".

On the mobile version of the website, open the menu in the top-right corner, log into your Premium account, and tap "Writing Coach".

In the iOS app, tap the profile circle in the top-left corner to log into your account. Then tap "More" in the bottom-right corner, followed by "Writing Coach".

You can then type or paste text into the box (in Spanish or English) and click the "Proofread" button. You also have options to listen to the text you wrote, easily copy the text, or translate the text.

After clicking on the "Proofread" button, the sections of your text that have grammar errors will be highlighted in green, and the spelling errors will be marked in red.

When you hover your mouse over a highlighted section, a box will pop up that explains what the error might be and how to correct it. Once you make your corrections, click the "Proofread" button again to check your corrections and scan for any remaining problems.
